- Tell me what you're planning to write about
- Come up with a thesis sentence and opening paragraph

- 2 sources from JSTOR & EBSCOhost that will be related to your essay
- These sources should be the same sources your planning to use for your final paper

Answer the following questions using JSTOR and EBSCOhost. Use the Research Resources tab, or the South Texas College website to access the database system/s.
1. Using JSTOR key word [Americo Paredes]. Find an article written for Western Folklore in the Winter-Spring of 2005, vol. 64.

· What is the title of the article?
2. Using EBSCOhost key words [borderlands] [gender] [chicano]. Find article titled Migrant Longing, Courtship, and Gendered Identity in The U.S.-Mexico Boderlands. Using the abstract, tell me what the article is about.
